The Goal of Separation Anxiety Minute to Win It Game
The goal of this game is to pile up 50 candy-coated chocolates (or plastic tokens) and then sort them by colour. The trick here is that you can only use one hand, and you must sort the candies one at a time according to a colour pattern.
Equipment Needed for Separation Anxiety Minute to Win It Game
Coloured coated chocolates (such as M&M’s) or 5 different colour plastic tokens
One large drinking glass
Five plastic small containers, colour coded to match the chocolates.
How to Play the Separation Anxiety Minute to Win It Game
- First, count out 10 of each colour of chocolate candy
- You want five different colours, 10 candies in each colour.
- Place the candies in a pile and cover them with the large plastic drinking glass.
- Place the five colour-coded containers; face up, in a semicircle around the covered pile of candy.
- Then, using only your chosen hand, sort them one by one into the available containers.
- To win the game, sort all 50 candies into their proper containers in one minute or less.
The Rules of Separation Anxiety Minute to Win It Game
The rules are simple:
- You may use only one hand throughout the course of the game.
- A spotter/adjudicator must check all containers before declaring a win.
