The Face the Cookie game is probably the funniest spectator Minute to Win It activity. The contestants need to guide a cookie from their forehead into their mouth using only their facial muscles. Face the Cookie is an ideal  party game for all occasions.

Equipment Needed for Face the Cookie Minute to Win It Game 

Chair

3 Cookies (usually Oreo biscuits) per player. 

How to Play the Face the Cookie Minute to Win It Game 

  1. Sit in a chair with a plate of Oreo cookies beside you
  2. Lean your head back and place a cookie in the center of your forehead. 
  3. Use only your face to move the cookie from your forehead to your mouth when the timer starts

The Rules of Face the Cookie Minute to Win It Game

The rules are simple:  

  1. Cookies must be placed in the middle of your forehead and not touching your eyebrows.
  2. You can tilt your head and move your face, but you cannot touch a cookie with your hands.
  3. The cookie must remain in contact with your face, so you can’t try to toss it from your forehead and catch it in your mouth.
  4. If a cookie falls before reaching your mouth, you must start over using the same cookie.

 Some useful tips for playing Face the Cookie Minute to Win It Game

  1. Tilt your head in the opposite direction from the way you want the cookie to go to provide stability.
  2. Use repetitive motions with your face muscles to slowly but steadily move the cookie along.
  3. When you get the cookie close to your mouth, slowly and gently tilt your head to get it to its final destination.

Incorporate Face the Cookie into other activities

The Face the Cookie can be part of a Minute to Win It themed team building event or it can be incorporated into other games for school camps, birthday parties, office parties or other social events. 

To use Face the Cookie as part of a team building or group activity, the rules can be adapted to get individuals to compete against each other to win points for their team.  Another popular option is to run the Face the Cookie in a relay format with each team member needing to complete the activity before the next team member starts.

The Face the Cookie can also be used as part of a challenge to be completed in a scavenger hunt or amazing Race themed event.
