Penny Hose is a simple Minute to Win It activity, which can be a bit of a challenge, but still can be finished within the time limit. The contestants need to fish two coins from of a pair of pantyhose.

Penny Hose Minute to Win It Game 

The goal of Penny Hose is to fish two coins out of a pair of pantyhose, each coin from the bottom of each leg. The catch here is that you can only use your hands, and one hand must be working each hose leg simultaneously.

Equipment Needed for Penny Hose Minute to Win It Game 

One pair of pantyhose needed per player, but keep a few extra pairs on hand.

Two pennies or coins per player

How to Play the Penny Hose Minute to Win It Game 

1. Place a coin in each leg of the pantyhose and make sure they are right at the bottom.
2. Place the pantyhose on the floor or table.
3. When the timer starts, the player can start searching for the coins.
4. When the coins are located, they need to remove the pantyhose the same way.
5. Retrieve both coins from the pantyhose in a minute or less to win the challenge.

The Rules of Penny Hose Minute to Win It Game

The rules are simple:  

1. Only one hand can touch each leg of the pantyhose.
2. The player cannot grab one leg and use the other hand to hold the pantyhose leg.
3. The hands may not work together
4. No part of your hand or arm may touch any other part of your body
5. If a coin is dropped, the game is lost

Wiggle your hands as much as possible to get them through the legs quickly.

Make sure not to drop the pennies on the way out.

Incorporating Penny Hose into other activities

The Penny Hose can be part of a Minute to Win It themed team building event or it can be incorporated into other games for school camps, birthday parties, office parties or other social events. 

To use Penny Hose Minute to Win It as part of a team building or group activity, the rules can be adapted to get individuals to compete against each other to win points for their team.  Another popular option is to run the Penny Hose in a relay style format, with each member of the team having to finish before the next team member starts.
