Activity Description

Our Donate a Dinner Charity Team Building Workshop puts social responsibility front and center, giving your group the chance to make a difference in the world.

What better way is there to serve the community than to help put hot meals on the plates of those who need them the most?

How Does Donate a Dinner Work?

Teams work through a series of challenging experiential learning activities to earn points. The concept is simple: the more points they earn, the bigger their donation will be.

How do they earn points? Well, as corporate trainers whose mission is to help teams like yours develop their workplace skills, we couldn’t let slip by the opportunity to sneak in some skill development work!

To earn points, teams must overcome obstacles, solve problems, and work collaboratively by exhibiting their best communication skills to achieve the goals given them. Our professional facilitators create a stress-free environment which encourages individuals to try new ways of getting things done.

Donate a Dinner is Perfect for High-Performing Teams

Whether it’s any or all the following insights…

  • new patterns of communication
  • a renewed sense of confidence to contribute to group decision-making processes
  • becoming a better team member by appreciating the diversity within any group

…individuals will gain valuable team-building experience that will offer benefits far into the future. They’ll be practicing teamwork through fun hands-on activities designed to teach, inspire, and engage.

Donate a Dinner has an exciting twist that serves to motivate participants even more: a breakdown in the skills targeted in this workshop, such as the following, can cause “problems”:

  • communication
  • creative thinking
  • dealing with limited resources

The “problems” will involve not only a difficulty in accomplishing the tasks doled out by our professional facilitators, but also a diminished number of points earned! That’s right: if teams don’t work together to achieve their activity goals, their donation will be smaller. Of course, we know that a little healthy competition is always good for team building!

Choose a local food pantry, a national advocacy group or any type of organization you’d like- we’ll make it happen. After all, it’s your workshop, your donation!
