Activity Description

Want to make a difference in the lives of active military service men and women? Mission: Mission for the Military is your chance!

Team building activities in this charitable workshop are centred around the goal of helping those serving active military duty and stationed far from home.

Learning Courage for the Workplace

Those who are used to serving their country from afar know a lot about courage, and it’s their courage that lends inspiration to Mission: Military Care.

Participants learn to channel their inner courage in order to become better team members, all the while working with colleagues to assemble Mission for the Military packages for our courageous men and women serving their country.

We’re passionate about supporting these folks, which is why we created this special workshop. Our professional workshop developers know that when everyone works together towards a common goal, all sorts of wonderful initiatives can be introduced……like improving communication skills and learning to consider the big picture.

Success is When Everyone Contributes to the Outcome

One way we look at courage is to feel inspired by men and women who serve their country in the military. They face situations every day where courage comes into play- and are among the most courageous people we know of.

Redefining success in the workplace means recognizing all types of courageous behaviour. For some, simply offering input and participating in group problem solving in the office takes volumes of courage. Individuals question the value of their input and consequently they don’t offer it for fear of their ideas being shot down.

Mission for the Military aims to change all that. By incorporating modules designed to show the value of every individual’s input, team members learn that every idea is a winner, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. They learn that teamwork suffers when they hold back and give into fear.

In other words, they learn about courage.

Success is defined as an outcome that’s created by everyone in the group, with everyone participating. Once they learn to let go of fears in a team building workshop, our facilitators help participants begin to transfer these ideas to the workplace for a relevant, practical dimension to this hands-on, charitable workshop.

Courage, Teamwork and Your Group

We work closely with groups like the following to get your team’s care packages out to military service men and women who need them:
